Your source for all things "Griggery".
This site is dedicated to preserving the memory of one of the west's most unsung heroes. Born in New York in 1831, Greg Metcalf lived to be only 27 years old, but he packed more adventure into those 27 years than ten average men! Only one photograph and a handful of letters survived him, but countless Greg Metcalf stories were preserved by his relatives and friends. We were stunned by the amount of Greg material we were able to uncover and in order to share it with you we've produced his first book length biography, entitled:
- Blog on issues related to Greg Metcalf, his kin and contemporaries.
- Photo gallery of many images of Greg, Melissa, and important figures in their lives.
- A complete index of the names mentioned in Going to my Grave.
- The bibliography of all sources used in the writing of Going to my Grave.
BIG NEWS - - "Going to my Grave" has just been reviewed by the Association for Mormon Letters! You can read the full review for the next few days on the home page of their website:
